Global Hunting Adventures is a full service booking agency.
The owner, Hans Keller has been
in operations since 1997.
Global Hunting started out
specializing in hunts in the Arctic for
Polar Bear and Musk Ox.
It soon expanded to handle over
30 different outfitters all over the
world.
Every year we provide our
expertise to assist various entities
with video productions for the Outdoor
Channel.
In 2001 we started doing research
on the best place in the nation to set
up hunting operations for free range
whitetail deer hunting.
The next year we started our
operations up in Greene and Scott
counties in Illinois.
Every year since we have had the
privilege of guiding hunters to a trophy
of a lifetime.
Each year we strive to make our
operations better with more land and
more opportunity for our hunters. In the
beginning of the 2004 season we had the
pleasure of meeting another outfitter
that has outfitted some of the same
lands that we have.
We agreed that working together
and combining our operations would be
both a benefit for us and our clients.
Now in 2005 we have completed our
transition and Global Hunting Adventures
is the exclusive booking agent for Tall
Tine Outfitters.
We help to run video productions
from camp and provide more support for
an already established outfitter.
What this means for you is this:
·
More land to hunt.
·
More experienced guides.
·
Expanded knowledge of lands.
·
A team of knowledgeable experts in deer hunting
focusing on strict management for the
harvesting of mature whitetail deer.
·
Expanded hunting possibilities all over the
world.
Global Hunting Adventures and Tall Tine Outfitter’s Mission
Statement
Our mission is to provide each hunter
with a high quality hunting experience
that culminates in the harvest of a big,
mature whitetail. We strive to provide
the working class hunter with the
opportunity to harvest their trophy of a
lifetime. If you are looking for a GREAT
hunt at an AFFORDABLE price with someone
who understands your wants and needs,
then We have what you have
been looking for. Contact us to secure
your hunt dates.
Global
Hunting Adventures and Tall Tine Outfitters combined
their operations for one purpose; to
provide you, the hunt client, with the
best possible opportunity at harvesting
a trophy of a lifetime.
After spending several seasons
guiding and managing in several
different counties in West-Central
Illinois (including Pike Co), we have
concluded that Greene and Morgan
Counties provide the hunter with his best
possible opportunity to harvest a
130"-180" whitetail. We have
personally guided several hunters to
Pope & Young and Boone &
Crockett deer.
Commitment to Youth
We strongly
believe that today's youth is the future
of our great sport. This is why we allow
children 16 and under to hunt free
(children ages 17 and 18 hunt half
price) when accompanied by a paid adult
client. Some charges may occur for food
and lodging where applicable. Some
restrictions may apply. Please contact
us for other pricing information and
details.
We primarily
focus on bowhunts but we do take a
limited number of shotgun and
muzzleloader hunters each year. Most
properties are being managed as archery
only this year. Camp sizes are kept
small (max capacity is 12 per week) to
ensure flexibility and to keep hunting
pressure to an absolute minimum. Only
trophy bucks are to be taken and all
hunts have a strict minimum antler score
of 130" using the P&Y scale.
Hunters hunt at their own pace with us. No itinerary to follow makes for a more
relaxing and enjoyable hunt.
Pre-scouting is done for you and over
200 tree stands are in place and ready
to hunt from. Stand sites are selected
based on current travel, feeding, and
rutting patterns. Hunters are welcome to
bring their own stands if they wish.
Deer in the 130" to 170" range
are very common and several exceeding
170" are seen and taken every year.
Over the last 4 years the average antler
size of deer taken has been over
142" and average weight of our
bucks is 220 lbs field-dressed. This
year we will also be offering a limited
number of self serve hunts. Contact
us for more details.
Our Hunting Properties
Our properties consist of several
different, privately owned trophy
managed farms in Greene and Morgan
Counties in West Central Illinois. We
currently lease over 8000 acres of prime
trophy whitetail habitat consisting of
hardwood sidehills and ridges, timbered
draws, steep bluffs, creek bottoms,
thickets, CRP, agricultural fields, old
pasture, and food plots. All land is
leased based on its history and future
potential for consistently producing
trophy whitetails.
We are adding
more quality acres to our operation for
2005. We are very excited for the
upcoming season and for the opportunity
to shed hunt in the early spring. Most
farms are managed as "Bowhunting
Only" and a couple of farms are
going to a 140" minimum to enhance
the age structure on those farms.
